Anna discovered the exotic and dazzling art of belly dancing in Vancouver, Canada in 2007. She moved to
California in the summer of 2008. She has been dreaming of performing on stage for many years, but it
wasn't until she met Shaheen at a belly dance show at Bean Scene Cafe in
December of 2008, when that dream became a possibility. Anna has recently joined Jewel of Opar, and her
dream will come true at the Desert Dance Festival
in September of 2009, when she debuts with Jewel of Opar on stage. Anna loves the idea of creating her
unique belly dance style by blending various forms of dance.
Besides dancing, Anna is also crazy about other activities such as table tennis, badminton, hiking, swimming, piano playing, karaoke, cooking and especially eating. She is a pharmacist licensed in the U.S., Canada and Hong Kong. People are usually surprised to find out that a professional pharmacist during the day is transformed into a belly dancer at night. |
